The Exodus Rapture

The Exodus Rapture

In the story of Moses - there is an Old Testament connection with the New Testament story of the Rapture taught by Paul. Compare the scriptures of Exodus 19 to the New Testament. In other words - The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. I believe in Coming of the Lord to Rapture (caught up) His saints. Titus called it the "Blessed Hope" (Titus 2:13)

Exodus 19:14 - And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

Exodus 19:15 - And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at [your] wives.

II Peter 3:8 - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Exodus 19:16 - And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that [was] in the camp trembled.

Acts 2:19 - And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

Exodus 19:17 - And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

Mark 4:29 - But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

Exodus 19:18 - And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

Revelation 16:18 - And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, [and] so great.

Exodus 19:19 - And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

I Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

I Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Exodus 19:20 - And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses [up] to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

I Thessalonians 4:17 - Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
