The Days of Daniel

Daniel was an amazing man, a prophet who saw the entire Gentile kingdoms unto the very end. Kingdoms would come and go. Empires, kings, rulers, popes, presidents all come and go but the Throne of Heaven is an everlasting Throne. 

The first kingdom was Assyria, with its occult mad capital city of Nineveh (see Nahum 3 v.4). The second was Egypt, which devoted much of its total weunderlying belief in astrology. This was the cohesive force that bound together all the witchcraft, sorcery and magic. Kings would seldom make a move without consulting advisers steeped in the ancient art of Babylonian religion. The ancient priests enjoyed royal stature and power, especially in Egypt.

The fifth was the Greek Empire. One visit to Greece and her ancient temple sites will convince you of the sway which idolatrous religions held there. The Kingdom According to Daniel - In Daniel 2 v.31-35 we find the vision of Nebuchadnezzar recalled by Daniel, the great prophet. He sums up this description of the four world empires with these words: While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were broken to pieces at the same time and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth. (Dan 2 v.34-35) (from discover revelation).

Amazing that history continually proves the Word of God to be the truth. Now we are at the end of the sixth empire of Bible prophecy.Soon the seventh one (10 kings, 10 toes, 10 nation coalition) will rise and is beginning to rise in the middle east as we see Islam rising in power. From that group will rise an Islamic anti-christ, known among Islam as the Mahdi.

In Islamic eschatology, the Mahdi (Arabic: مهدي‎, mahdī "guided one") is the prophesied redeemer of Islam who will rule for five, SEVEN, nine, or nineteen years (according to differing interpretations) before the Day of Judgment (yawm al-qiyamah / literally, the Day of Resurrection) and will rid the world of evil. This is the goal of Islam, to rid the world of evil but their goal is just as evil. ISIS is a perfect example of the mind-set of Islam to being about the Apocalypse. 

In the Book of Revelation chapter 6 we have Four Horse riders - White, Red, Black and Green. These will ride and carry with them death, destruction, famine, etc. Their goal is submission, submit or die. When you look at the anti-christ, if you do not submit, you will have your head decapitated. Notice the form of punishment Islam loves to carry out? Who would have thought that we would be seeing this with our own eyes. There is no doubt that we are seeing the making and he rise of the anti-christ system. The spirit of anti-christ has been here from the beginning but we are seeing that spirit soon to be manifested in a literally man who will rule in the earth.  When you look at most of the flags of Islam, they appear to be the same colors as the horsemen of Revelation. He will have a global following in the name of peace. 

From Michael Youssef: "Islam borrowed a great deal from Judaism and Christianity, it is not surprising that they too have a figure with a messianic complex—the Mahdi, or the Guided One.

Muslims see the Mahdi as a savior who will lead a global revolution and establish a worldwide Islamic empire. The Mahdi will rule the Earth as the final Caliph of Islam (a caliph is both a political ruler and a spiritual representative of Allah on Earth).

Muslims revere Jesus (whom they call Isa) as the Masih or Messiah. In Islamic eschatology, the Mahdi will arrive at the same time that Isa returns. Isa will descend to Earth in Syria, east of Damascus, dressed in yellow robes, and will assist the Mahdi, who will rule over the world for seven years (or, in some Islamic traditions, nine or 19 years). At the end of the Mahdi's rule, there will be a Day of Judgment for the entire human race.

The parallels between the biblical Antichrist and the Mahdi of Islam are chilling. Both are associated with the End Times and the Judgment. Both are said to possess political, military and religious power, and head up a one-world religion. The Mahdi will force all non-Muslim people to convert to Islam. Like the Antichrist, the Mahdi will establish Jerusalem as his capital, from which he will rule the Earth.

Islamic scholars Muhammad ibn Izzat and Muhammad Arif write, in Al Mahdi and the End of Time: "The Mahdi will be victorious and eradicate those pigs and dogs and the idols of this time so that there will once more be a caliphate based on prophethood as the hadith states. ... Jerusalem will be the location of the rightly guided caliphate and the center of Islamic rule, which will be headed by Imam al-Mahdi. ... That will abolish the leadership of the Jews ... and put an end to the domination of the Satan who spit evil into people and cause corruption in the earth, making them slaves of false idols and ruling the world by laws other than the Sharia [Islamic law] of the Lord of the worlds."

Though Muslims revere Jesus as a prophet, they deny that Jesus is the Son of God. Jews and Christians are, to Muslim fundamentalists, "pigs and dogs" who must either convert to Islam or be eliminated. Bible prophecy makes it clear that the Antichrist will target Jews and Christians for destruction, just as Islamic prophecy states that the Mahdi will wage war against Jews and Christians. Those who oppose the Antichrist's worldwide religion will be executed.

Muslim scholar Imam Muhammad Baqir states clearly how the Mahdi will establish his one-world religion: "There must be bloodshed and jihad to establish Imam Mahdi's rule." And Ayatollah Ibrahim al Amini of the Religious Learning Center in Qom, agrees: "The Mahdi will offer the religion of Islam to the Jews and Christians; if they accept it, they will be spared. Otherwise they will be killed."

Daniel tells us (and Jesus affirms in the Olivet Discourse) that the Antichrist will establish "the abomination that causes desolation" in the Temple in Jerusalem. The apostle Paul adds that the Antichrist "will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God" (2 Thess. 2:4). Since the Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D., as Jesus predicted, this has led some (not all Christians) to suggest that the Jewish Temple must be rebuilt on Temple Mount before the Antichrist can be revealed to the world.

Yet the golden-topped Dome of the Rock shrine and the Al-Aqsa mosque stand on Temple Mount today. One of the Islamic Hadiths (traditions) records that their Prophet Muhammad said, "[Armies carrying] black flags will come from Khurasan [Iran and Afghanistan], no power will be able to stop them, and they will finally reach Eela [the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem] where they will erect their flags." In Islamic tradition, black banners symbolize violent conquest, and Muslims await the Mahdi's conquest of Jerusalem, when he establishes his reign from the Temple site.

Daniel 9:27 tells us the Antichrist will establish a seven-year covenant with Israel—but he will break the covenant after three-and-a-half years, defiling the Temple with "an abomination that causes desolation." The Hadiths of Islam also speak of a seven-year covenant that the Mahdi makes with Israel: "The Prophet said: There will be four peace agreements between you and the Romans. The fourth will be mediated through a person who will be from the progeny of Hadrat Aaron [Honorable Aaron, the brother of Moses] and will be upheld for seven years."

There can be no doubt: Muslims are preparing to accept the Mahdi as their leader—and the Mahdi is indistinguishable from the world leader we know as the Antichrist.

I bring all of this to your attention so we can have a knowledgeable perspective when viewing current events unfolding in the Middle East.

But Christians should not fear.

Regardless of whether the Antichrist comes in this generation or a hundred years from now, those who have placed their faith in God's Messiah, Jesus the Christ, fear no one nor even death. Vessels of the Lord in this Generation

The Work of God and the purpose of God in eternity demands a human instrument for their fulfillment. Where is a vessel that God can pour into in this generation? If there is a vessel presented, HEAVEN will pour into it.

2 Kings 4:1-6 (KJV)

1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. ² And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. ³ Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. ⁴ And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. ⁵ So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. ⁶ And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

Heaven never ran out of Oil, the earth ran out of Vessels. Without a prepared vessel the flow will not be as easy, it will stop. God is looking for vessels in this generation that He can pour Himself into.

Being a vessel is not easy when it is put on the potter's wheel. It has to go under the hand as it is placed on the potter's wheel. It will be molded into a certain kind of vessel. It is shaped different and it is under pressure from the hands that is molding it.

Next, once the vessel is made to the image of the vision in the mind of the hands that is molding it, from there it has to go under the fire to be made hard to endure. God is not looking for a hard heart, He is looking for a solider who can endure hardness. (2 Tim. 2:3)

God is looking for vessels that does not care what the world says or the worlds message but to rise up and set your faces like flint.

Isaiah 50:7 "For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed."

The world wants you to be ashamed for what you stand for. The world would have you believe that we are to hard, harsh, no love but that is backwards. We do respond by speaking truth "in love" to those who will hear. Love is a corrective thing. To love someone is to tell them the truth. God is looking for a generation that will set their faces like flint and tell the truth.

FLINT: "When struck against steel, a flint edge will produce sparks. The hard flint edge shaves off a particle of the steel that exposes iron which reacts with oxygen from the atmosphere and can ignite the proper tinder." Wikipedia

The world is a hard place but it takes something hard against the flint so it will produce a spark and through the oxygen of the Holy Spirit, so it will ignite a fire of Revival around you and others

Don't doubt God when you are in the fires being forged into a vessel. Joseph in the scriptures is a perfect example. He was in the right place at the right time for the right purpose. Though Joseph, thousands were saved from the seven year famine.

About a 120 in the Upper Room at Jerusalem was forged in the fire to be a vessel to reach the known world at that time. They did not coward down to through around them or to those who disagreed. They had boldness once they became a vessel forged in the fire.

After the Upper Room experience we read:
Acts 4:13 "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus."

Do you want to be a vessel in this generation with boldness? Do you want those around you to take knowledge that you have been with Jesus? God is raising up the youth of this generation. At this present writing, there is a Revival among the youth in W.Va. where many are giving their hearts to the Lord. With each passing day and the world under stress, this is our only hope, to become a willing vessel, a yielding vessel so Heaven can pour into us on earth to fulfill His commission to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. I want to be the yielded vessel in the master's hands.

Snakes In An Atheist's Grave - The Amazing Story of Chester Bedell

(Interesting Story I heard serveral years ago that I thought you would like to hear this again after many years) Sometimes we read of some blatant atheist who ch
allenges God to strike him dead, or to prove His existence, but it is rarely indeed that God takes up such a challenge in the form in which it is made. However, in the case we are considering, God did accept an atheist's challenge, and accepted it in such a remarkable way that the infidel's grave is preaching effective sermons to many people week after week and year after year. The cause related is not one that occurred in the distant past, and which no one can investigate today. Any one with an automobile and a little spare time can see for himself. Large numbers of people are doing that very thing. It was my privilege to make the trip to North Benton, Ohio, to see the cemetery of which I speak.

The atheist in question was Mr. Chester Bedell, who died in 1908 at the age of eightytwo. He is said to have been a very bold and blatant skeptic, and was out-spoken in opposition to God and the Bible. I was told that he was a very mean man and that neighbors and others were afraid that if they crossed him they might get up the next morning to find their barn burned to the ground or other damage done. It is declared that he left one dollar each to his two Christian daughters and his 2,500 acres of land to his unbelieving sons. He was in many law suits during his life. It is said that he occasionally attended the Presbyterian Church in the town of North Benton, and that his presence threw such coldness over the service as soon as he entered that it almost broke up the meeting.

The direct challenge which Mr. Bedell hurled at the Almighty was this: "If there is a God or any truth in the Bible, let Him infest my grave with snakes." He wrote a book against the Bible entitled, "Universal Mental Liberty." Sometime before his death he had an imposing statue of himself made of bronze and placed upon a large pedestal. In his uplifted hand is a book with the inscription, "Universal Mental Liberty." Under his foot is a scroll representing the Bible, with the word "Superstition" in large letters. A minister visited one of Mr. Bedell's daughter's for information, and she said her father belonged to "The Soclety of Damned Souls" and had said that if there was a God he wanted Him to infest his grave with snakes. His daughter says that when he was dying he said, "Oh, that I had never had that monument built," and wished he were able to go over to that cemetery and tear it down, but it was too late. And what was the sequel? SNAKES!

When the grave was dug the sexton killed two snakes and when the casket was brought to the grave another large snake had to be removed before it could be lowered. That was twenty-four years ago, and since that time the family lot has been full of snake holes around the curbing. The snakes can be seen any day you visit the cemetery, except, perhaps the day after a rain. The sexton told me that under the monument and around the grave is a den of snakes And an equally remarkable fact is that this burial lot is the only place in the cemetery where snakes are ever found so the sexton declared to me in a talk that I had wlth him. The North Benton cemetery has a regularly employed sexton who takes excellent care of the grounds. The trip which I made to North Benton was by auto from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. North Benton is just eighty miles from Pittsburgh. Mr. and Mrs. Miller, who took me in their car, had made two previous trips. On one they counted eight live snakes. On the other they saw sixteen that had been killed and piled up by other parties.

As we neared the cemetery I felt nervous and somewhat excited. Yes, there was the monument just as it had been described to me! I counted ten angry looking snake holes around the grave. I have pictures of five snakes, including two large ones crawling from between crevices in the cement curbing. The sexton had killed a black snake six feet six inches long just before we came, and he saw the head of another, the largest he had ever seen, which crawled back before he could kill it. I inquired why there were bloodstains on the statue, and the sexton said boys would come and kill the snakes and throw them up around the neck of Mr. Bedell's statue, then he would have the task of taking them down. That is almost enough to make the old atheist turn over in the grave! As many as twenty snakes have been killed in a day, and the sexton says that the more you kill the more there seem to be. One expression heard in and around North Benton is, "Well, if Bedell did ask for snakes he sure got 'em!"

The sexton informed me that people come from all over the United States to see the statue and grave, and that previous Sunday, 200 or more people were in that cemetery. Mr. Bedell's sons and some people near the cemetery are pretty much stirred up over the publicity that snakes have brought to the place and have been talking of taking the statue down, feeling that the statue and snakes together are a reflection on their cemetery. Some have told the caretaker that they vanished that he would tear the monument down, but he replied that he did not think that it should be torn down, as it preached too many sermons. ‹B. E. Later I have learned that a wind storm had blown the statue down and it had been taken away; but the large tombstone is still there and they say that snakes are there also. You cannot challenge God and not think He won't answer that challenge. One day very soon I'm going to visit this place! Shalom!

A Clarion Call

A Clarion Call:

For some time now my heart has been burden as a minister, solider, fellow servant of Jesus Christ concerning the state of our nation. A Clarion call goes out for those in the Body of Christ to make a "Stand" this year without apology or compromise and it needs to be done now. Political correctness has brought us into a path of destruction and needs to be placed back into Hell from where it came in certain areas of life, including the pulpits of America for it has killed a once effective bumper that lead people to repentance.

Because of the cross road we are at, the five-fold ministry needs to be reexamined in the light of scriptures and a call needs to go forth to a lost a dying world that there is still Hope to come to Jesus before it’s too late.

Old Fashion worship has been replaced by the things that make people comfortable with their own lifestyles in the Church that glorifies flesh and not God. The music of today cannot be distinguished from the common hard rock, bar joints and head banging bunch.

Dancing came in but not by the Spirit, choreographed until now it is erotic worship and many are ok with that calling it “the arts”.

Sin and Hell should be preached from God’s house to the White house but where are the voices? The Church needs to become the Church again in America, even if this is our last run.

Grace has been preached in a perverted way until its being taught that you do not have to "repent" of your present sins, you repented once when you were saved and that is enough.

Love has been taught in a way until the minds of people believe you cannot speak against sins and if you do, you don't "love" people.

Many fail to understand that love is corrective. Judgment begins in the pulpits of America. You can love the sinner but real love is to tell them the truth. Speak the word in love they say but true Love will keep you out of Hell when you know right from wrong.

Many main line denominations are falling into a compromise position; and the people have lost their way.

Judges 17:6

"In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes."

From the Methodist, Lutherans, Churches of Christ, now among the Pentecostals, compromise has hit and the compass of direction has now become the compass of compromise. Now, they do that which is right in “their” eyes but not in God’s! The “church” has become progressive in their “revelation” as they call it and we are on a new journey into the unknown.

Provocative dress does not prick the conscience of people who claim to walk before a Holy God and modesty is laughed at as out dated, old fashion, legalistic as sages of days gone did not understand and have interpreted the scriptures incorrectly.

Yet, in nations where women walk naked and men regard not their bodies when walking into a Spirit filled service, you begin to see the women cover their breast and men realize they are before a Holy God and cover their private parts not because of what was said but what was felt.

The truth of God’s Word has fallen in the streets of America (Isa. 59:14). The once hearing ear has now become silent by ministers like Kenneth Copland, Joseph Prince, Rick Warren until the ministry has become a laughing stock among the people. Ministers who once stood against the ills and vices of men now have become silent to the cries of those who say they cannot find their way to God but have now made a bed of ease in their search. The uncomfortable has become comfortable.

A famine has now hit America. There is no fear of God in His house; rebellion is in the hearts against the ministry because of those who have perverted the real truth about giving to real men and women of God. We have been on a slide downward for many years but the real blame goes upon the ministry.

Yes, truth has now fallen in the streets as millions now trample upon it as if God’s Word is just a novel placed upon the selves of millions of home while dust ages it by never reading it again.

We are more concerned about the ages of rocks, instead of the Rock of Ages. Aborted babies are cast aside and innocent blood runs in the streets of America and the world. Flowers, frogs, fish, falcon, fox and flamingo’s have more rights than a fetus.

2 Chronicles 15:3

"Now for a long season Israel hath been without the TRUE God, and without a TEACHING priest, and without LAW."

Where are the “teaching” men and women of God who will stand up and minister the Word (law) of the Lord? Soon, we will be without a “true God” because the words Ichabod has been wrote upon this nation, the “glory has departed.”

Power is being replaced by “pole dancing”. Bring your Bibles and Beer, pull up a seat and call it a church. Whatever we need to do to reach the lost but their methods is meaningless. From Gay bars to nightclubs, Bible study now has become the norm but with no effectiveness to bring them out of their lifestyle only to give those a comfortable atmosphere so they don’t have to go before a Holy God of conviction. Their conscience has condemned them because they are not “in” Christ but in convenience.

Smoke machines has replaced the Glory, pimps instead of prophets, playboys but no prayer meetings, clowns and no conviction, feasting instead of fasting, magic instead of miracles, plays instead of passion.

Pillow prophets prophecy of “better days” ahead but how can God bless what has become a curse? The prosperity gospel has turned into a money making machine until people has lost confidence in men of God. Yes, there is a real truth about giving and receiving and I believe that but prosperity is not a sign of God’s approval but that you prayed and God provided.

We have given names to illnesses to excuse behavior but sin is at the root. Legalized sin has become the answer, calling right wrong and wrong right. Faith has been lost among people in church and the ministry has become ineffective in many ways. The once consecrated Church could move mountains but most cannot even move a mole hill.

Eli, the High Priest of Israel lost his sight, his direction and covered his eyes up to the sins of his priestly sons. The Ark of the Covenant was taken by the Philistines and dark days hit Israel. Before the Ark was taken we read this:

1 Samuel 3:1-3

1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

2 And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;

3 And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was…

We have lost our spiritual sight in America until we cannot see the real problem and it is called sin and the lack of calling it like it is.

Our lamp has gone out, our eyes have become dim, discernment has been lost and the Word of God is neither precious nor held in high regard as it once was.

This is America that does not know the Lord or God’s provided way back to Him.

The sons of Eli were now the sons of Belial.

1 Samuel 2:12

"Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the Lord."

These priestly son of Eli now were sons of Belial. What is Belial? Here we see:

ATS Bible Dictionary - Belial

“Worthlessness - always so used in a moral sense. A man or son of Belial is a wicked, worthless man; one resolved to endure no subjection; a rebel; a disobedient, uncontrollable fellow, Judges 19:22; 1 Samuel 2:12. In later writings, Belial is put for the power or lord of evil, Satan, 1 Corinthians 6:15.”

This has become the “church” of America, the conscience of America. “I’m good. I’m a son of a High Priest (Christ). I can do what I want and still serve the Lord and NO one can tell me what to do.”

Have you become a son of “Belial?” Have you lost your moral sense? Are you a rebel, disobedient, reckless, and shacking up Belial claiming to be a son of the High Priest? I tell you, you know not the Lord.

We have left the discarded values of the past for a more progressive way to God but God has not changed nor has His Word.

Revelation 3:14-22

“… unto Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Laodicea is two Greek words - laos means people, nation, or crowd; dike means custom, law, judgment, penalty, or punishment, depending on the context. From that, most conclude that the Laodicea people saw themselves as a people of justice or law-abiding people.

They were lukewarm, increased with goods but they were deceived.

Fanny Crosby who wrote of 8,000 hymns of the Church who lived in the late 1800’s when just a little baby girl, the doctor put some medicine in her eyes that caused her to go blind. Growing up God gifted her with the talent to write songs that is still sung in the churches today.

Someone came to her and said, “Fanny, you’re blind. What if you get to heaven and you are still blind, how are you going to know Jesus?” She said, “I shall know him. I shall know him by the prints of the nails in His hands.”

It’s time to pray for eye salve to put on our eyes that God may open them so we can see again!

The Clarion Call is Clear – unless we get back to the altars there is no alternative.

I believe God is sending out a Call back to the altar and the REVIVAL will come back for a season but not the way it’s been preached. It will come to rural areas of those who are hungry for a “real” move. Back-wood churches that have become sick of the way things have become. Tent Revivals will come back for a season.

You may disagree on what I have said but the call is clear – live or die, sink or swim there is a people who in the end who will fulfill the Joel 2 prophecy and become the people who will not play but prophecy.

The anointing will come upon the sons and daughter. Aged men and handmaidens will step out with a clear call.

The church will not go down in defeat but will leave this in Victory.

Israel left Egypt, not in defeat but Victory. This Church will leave this earth in VICTORY!

I have spoken this truth in love. God is love but there must be action and not just hearers.
